Tradewinds is a band known for its musical variety.  We have done everything from packed theatres , to late night clubs,  large benefit events,  and immense public, political  and town performances. Whether your event is an elegant corporate party, a wedding, or new club or venue, we have the musical styles and skills to match your entertainment needs. 

The Tradewinds ensemble has been together for over a decade.  We are one of the few NY bands wtih four horn players, six voices in harmony, and the talent to perform music from rock to country, pop to Sinatra,  and funk to oldies. Tradewinds management is also keenly aware of budgets and clients needs in order for us to put on a performance that will be a memorable experience for your event. 

Tradewinds has a horn section that is an integral part of the sound of Tradewinds. They are always working with the band and not on a call list, like some of the other bands that perform. It is always an authentic sound and not synthesized.  We bring the real deal to your event.

Tradewinds determined years ago that we weren't going to mimic every other cover band and play only top 40 hits or be a tribute band devoted to one artist. We sculpture our sets for the event, and all crowds and guests, and have played beach events of JimmyBuffett, club events with Bruno Mars sets, weddings  requesting primarily rock or country, and theatres with Motown, 70s ,80s and 90s. We play it all, and understand that all events are special and require carefully crafted sets of music. 

Many bands rotate their vocalists, but we offer a vocal section that constantly rehearses and works together through out the year.   With our premiere ensemble, we have two female singers, one male singer and many additional background vocalists filling powerful harmony. This allows us, unique to many bands, to play a variety of styles and genres of music. 

Many venues and clients request a band since they know live music is an unique experience.  There are many DJ's out there, but few bands that can cover so many genres and tailor a party to achieve the most excitement and fun for all guests.  The party starts  with the band's downbeat, and no DJ can match that live feeling of 10 musicians playing a crowd's favorite music and coming out to dance with the guests with instruments in hand.  We bring the party, and make the event a live experience for all to enjoy.
